We have instructors that are trained in multiple classical ballet techniques including Vaganova, Balanchine, and Cecchetti.  This provides dancers with a well rounded approach to their ballet training and the ability to learn from highly qualified staff.  Dancers will learn the fundamental positions, alignment, and steps in the classic technique of this beautiful dance form. Classes include exercises at the barre, in the center floor, and executing traveling steps across the floor dancers build strength, balance, flexibility, stamina, and artistry. Students who take ballet classes will gain confidence, body awareness, and self-discipline as they learn to master increasingly technical moves.

Our jazz classes are high energy classes that focus on technique and musicality. These one-hour classes work through a detailed warm-up, across the floor techniques, and combos. Technique includes isolations, turns, leaps, extensions, progressions, combinations, and routines.  Instructors will pull from a variety of music and styles to incorporate Broadway, theater, and pop styles throughout the season.

Our modern and contemporary classes include a fusion of Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, and classical Modern techniques in an expressive way.  Dancers learn to express emotion through their movement and interpretation of the music.  Classes include a warm up, floorwork, and choreography that promotes expression and artistry. A strong technical foundation in ballet is very beneficial to these classes.  *Dancers are welcome to audition for our Company Modern classes!
